the journey continues

We were in our new residence yesterday

We have ordered a few major appliances and they were scheduled to arrive on the 28th March 2015 which was yesterday.

(The EF cooker hob, hood and oven arrived the day before, we completely forgot about it. My husband had to rush home to receive it from the delivery personnel.)

My father, myself and the kids went to daiso to get certain things to clean up the house. A bucket, the toilet broom, chairs for the kids and battery operated lights (And toys. The kids always helped themseves to toys from daiso.)

We headed down to Punggol Topaz and started the waiting game.

We reached the place at abt 11.30am because the guy said he will reach around 12-1pm.

The washing machine and dryer delivery men came at 1.15pm.

The refrigerator man came at 2+pm. He promised to reach by 1pm. sighs.

Then we had an appointment with HDB at 4pm to acknowledge that they have rectified all the defects. which they did. There were still some minor defects but my husband and I will just close one eye to that.

Now we can FINALLY make the second payment to I-Bridge and get our humble abode some make-over.

After my miscarriage, my facial complexion deteriorated.

I had pigmentation on my cheeks.

I had a few negative comments of the way I looked as well.

My husband did not mind of course, but I do not want him to come home and look at a worn-out looking wife.

I sourced out for different and yet affordable methods to regain my once clear looking skin.

I started using it religiously in the morning and at night. 

There are no indication or manuals of the steps to use it. 

I personally washed my face with the facial soap day and night. In the morning I will use the sun block cream after the wash. 

At night, I use the toner, serum and moisturiser. 

It took me about 2 weeks to see the result.

There is visible difference of course. I am so glad my face looks much better now. But my personal advice would be, to use it on alternate days after using it for a month. This is because this product really brightens up your skin tone, you would look super weird if your face is brighter than the other parts of your body. Just my two cents worth.

Finally, after 5 full years of waiting for our new abode, we are there.

Allah has His reasons for delaying the house. He gave us Reena and Irman during the 5 years of waiting.

If the housse was ready much earlier before this, the hospital bills, necessities, school fees would deter us from saving for the house.

Something great did come out of waiting. We managed to save up quite a sum of money for the renovation, alhamdulillah. We have decided to not use any bank loan whatsoever.

In a few months time (plus minus the renovation and BSC rectifying the house), we will officially move into our new house.

It has been a very comfortable stay in my parents place. Our room is currently so cramped with toys and the children's stuff. It is a huge difference from the time we got married.
